Matcha Coconut Limeade


Four ingredients is all you need for a simple and refreshing Matcha Coconut Limeade!



This drink is so energizing and hydrating. Matcha is very calming and gives energy that doesn't make us jittery. (Remember, when buying matcha you want it to a bright, vibrate green, not dull colored.) Coconut water is, of course, very hydrating. This delicious limeade is almost like a homemade, healthy energy drink!



This limeade is easily customizable. Use different citrus, add in fresh fruit, use fresh juices for part of the coconut water. 1/2 cup of pineapple juice is delicious with this drink! Fresh mint would be perfect and delicious mixed in. I like to use frozen raspberries instead of ice for a different flavor too.



Matcha Coconut Limeade
Serves 1
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon matcha powder
  • stevia drops, to taste (I used 1/16 teaspoon)
  • ice, for serving
In a jar, with a lid, add coconut water, lime juice, and matcha. Screw on lid tightly and shake vigorously until the matcha is combined with the coconut water. If you have one, add a wire shaker ball to help with lumps when shaking the jar. 

Unscrew lid and add lime juice and stevia to taste. Screw lid back on tightly and shake again. 

Pour into a glass over ice and enjoy!
