Sweet and tangy, this Pineapple Honeydew Smoothie is full of healthy ingredients!
Honeydew is so sweet and goes perfectly with tangy fruit, such as pineapple. This smoothie also has spinach but is completely undetectable. For fun, serve this smoothie in a hollowed out half of the honeydew and top with more fruit and chia seeds or hemp hearts.
A spoonful of greek yogurt would be perfect in this smoothie as well to help mellow the tangy flavors if they are too strong for you and your family. Frozen green peas would also be a great addition to this smoothie!
Pineapple Honeydew Smoothie
Serves 1 to 2
- 1 cup cold chopped honeydew
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 cup frozen chopped pineapple
- 1/2 a frozen banana
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup cold freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice (almond or cashew milk works well too)
- 1/4 cup ice (optional)
- 1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
Place all ingredients in the blender.
Blend on high until very smooth.
Pour into glasses and serve right away or store in the fridge.
