Frozen Apple Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dog Treats

Three ingredients and a little water is all you need for cold and healthy treat for your dog!

I make a small batch of dog treats for Macy and Thelma often. Not only is making your own dog treats very easy and practical, you know exactly what ingredients are in them. Of course, just like people, dogs have different tastes and allergies. Customize your dog treats to their diet.

These Frozen Apple Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dog Treats are perfect for summer. I took a few of Macy and Thelma's favorite flavors and combined them to make a no bake, healthy, and cooling dog treat. The best part is these treats only take 5 minutes hands-on time to make, then freezing time.

Please use a peanut butter that is just peanuts and maybe a little salt. No sugars or oils or any other unnecessary ingredients.

Frozen Apple Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Dog Treats
Makes 16 Dog Treats
  • 1 medium apple, cored and roughly chopped
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup water
In a blender, add the apple and water. Blend on low, then high, until very smooth.

Add peanut butter and greek yogurt. Blend until combined.

Pour into ice cube tray and freeze until frozen solid, about 3 to 4 hours.

After very frozen, remove treats from ice cube tray and place in a freezer grade bag or wide mouth Mason jar.

Store in freezer for up to a month.

Make sure to recycle your freezer bags! They're very easy to wash and reuse, especially for these dog treats.

Please consult your vet before adding anything new to your dog's diet and any possible allergies your dog might have.

These treats have been approved by my vet but please use your own vet's guidance in regards to your pet.
