Spicy Chile Garlic Tofu

Super quick to make, this Spicy Chile Garlic Tofu only requires 5 ingredients!

This tofu is one of the fastest dinner recipes that I know. It's just a quick "dry fry" on the tofu then add in the sauce ingredients. After a few minutes of caramelizing in the pan, it's done! I like to serve it with steamed broccoli and brown rice. Super simple!

Spicy Chile Garlic Tofu
Inspiration: Blissful Basil

  • 1 (12 oz) block extra firm tofu, pressed dry & sliced into bite size pieces
  • 3 tablespoons chile garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • juice of one lime
In a bowl, mix the chile garlic sauce, soy sauce, maple syrup, and lime juice until combined. Set aside.

Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the tofu and "dry fry" on both sides until browned, working in batches if needed.

Add all the tofu back to the pan and add the sauce. Stir gently to coat and cook for 2 to 3 minutes to caramelize. Serve and enjoy!
