Simple Tortilla Pizza

Fast and always loved by all, these Simple Tortilla Pizzas are a dinnertime staple!

Homemade tortilla pizzas couldn't be easier to put together. A cast iron pan is key. Not only will you get a crispy crust, the toppings will be browned and bubbly.

  • 1 (8") tortilla (I used whole wheat)
  • 1/3 cup freshly shredded/crumbled cheese (I used mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup sauce (I used marinara)
  • toppings (I used pickled jalapeno slices, red onion, & fresh pineapple chunks)
Preheat the oven to 425 F.

Place the tortilla in a 12" cast iron skillet. Spread with sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Top as desired.

Bake for about 13 minutes, or until browned and melty. Allow the pizza to cool in the pan for about 2 minutes to set the toppings before slicing.
