Crispy Baked French Fries


Easy and delicious, these Crispy Baked French Fries are addictively good!


You don't need a deep fryer and a bunch of oil to make crispy, amazing french fries. Not only are these homemade fries really cheap to make, they make a lot. One large potato is perfect for two people. 



Crispy Baked French Fries

  • russet potatoes
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 425 F and line the sheet pan(s) with parchment paper. 

Wash and dry the potatoes. Cut in slices, lengthwise, about 1/4" thick. Then slice the slices in matchsticks, about 1/4" thick. 

Add the slices to a bowl and drizzle with enough oil to coat the fries. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and toss to coat. 

Arrange the fries in a even layer on the sheet pan(s). Make sure the fries are not overlapping or touching.

Bake for 15 to 25 minutes, or until crispy and browned. Every 10 minutes, flip the fries to allow even cooking.
