Watermelon Lemonade

Refreshing and a cinch to make, this Watermelon Lemonade is one of the most perfect drinks to make all Summer long!

Simply made, this lemonade is addictingly good. A easy simple syrup is combined with watermelon, water, and lemon juice. You can make it as sweet or tart as you like. Depending on how sweet and ripe your watermelon is, you may need more or less sugar and water.

Watermelon Lemonade
  • 5 to 6 cups cold water
  • 5 cups chopped watermelon
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
Add the sugar and 1 cup water to a saucepan. Put over medium heat and simmer until the sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.

Next add the watermelon and 4 to 5 cups water to a large blender. Blend until very smooth.

Strain the watermelon mixture into a pitcher. Stir in the lemon juice and simple syrup. Refrigerate until very cold and ready to enjoy!
