Berry Limeade {Stevia Sweetened}

Tangy and sweet, this Berry Limeade is sweetened with stevia and berries.

This limeade takes just a few minutes to make. The hardest part is juicing the limes. Stirring in the berries adds sweetness and slowly colors the limeade to a light pink hue. This time I added frozen strawberries, blueberries, and even though not a true berry, a few cherries too.

If you'd prefer lemonade, just replace the lime juice with lemon juice and adjust the stevia accordingly. If you'd prefer to use sugar, take one cup of the water and 1 cup of water and pour into a saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir into the rest of the water and the lime (or lemon) juice. Then continue on as directed in the recipe.

Berry Limeade {Stevia Sweetened}
  • 5 to 6 cups cold water
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon liquid stevia, to taste
  • about 2 cups frozen or fresh berries (I used blueberries, strawberries, & cherries)
Add the lime juice, water, and the stevia to a pitcher. Stir to combine. Refrigerate until cold.

When ready to serve, stir in the berries and pour into drinking glasses over ice.
