Agua De Sandia {Watermelon Water}

One of the most refreshing drinks ever, this Agua De Sandia will be a must have all Summer long!

Watermelon is so hydrating - it's about 92% water after all - that it's perfect for hot weather. Blend it with a little water and you have a delicious, light, and refreshing drink!

Coconut water is delicious to use instead of water if you like that flavor. Coconut water is, of course, very hydrating. Sometimes when we make this, I like to top them off with a little sparkling mineral water which we find even more refreshing.

Agua De Sandia {Watermelon Water}
Makes about a liter; serves 4
  • 6 cups fresh, ripe cubed watermelon
  • 1 cup cold water (coconut water is delicious too)
  • lime slices, for serving (optional)
Add the watermelon and water to a blender. Blend until smooth.

Strain the mixture, if desired, into a pitcher.

Refrigerate until cold. When ready to serve, pour over the ice into four small drinking glasses. Enjoy with a slice of lime!

(Best served the day of)
