Sugared Coated Cranberries

Two ingredients (plus water) is all you need for a simple dessert!

These Sugar Coated Cranberries are adorable as a dessert decoration, such on a layer cake. They would also be a perfect garnish for a drink as well. You can't go wrong here with these cranberries.

Sugar Coated Cranberries
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries, washed
  • 2 cups sugar, divided
  • 1 cup water
Gently dissolve 1 cup sugar in the water in a saucepan. Do not boil.

Pour the cranberries into a bowl. Cover with the simple syrup and refrigerate overnight.

Drain the cranberries, reserving the syrup if you like.

Pour the remaining sugar into a bowl. Add the cranberries, a few at a time, and coat with the sugar. Place the coated cranberries on a baking rack and allow the sugar to harden. Continue until all the cranberries are coated. Serve and enjoy!
