One of our favorite dinners is roasted chicken breasts with cranberry sauce. Thanks to frozen cranberries, I can make it year round. I always double my cranberry sauce recipe for snacking or recipes like this smoothie.
Use your favorite cranberry sauce recipe that is low sugar to keep this healthier for a special smoothie. My recipe includes apples and oranges which creates a delicious sauce!
Cranberry Sauce Smoothie
serves 1-2
- 1 cup vegan cranberry sauce
- 1 cup milk (cashew, almond, cow...)
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 tablespoon hemp hearts or chia seeds (optional)
- pinch cinnamon
